Hi,
I am not a refrigeration engineer, but would like to pick the brains of people who are!
This fridge is 6 months old and has started to produce a 'chemical' like smell from in the venting space under the worktop. It works perfectly and does not appear to be leaking anything or getting unduly hot, or smelling on the inside.
As far as I can see its coming from the evaporation pan above the compressor, which looks clear (no mould,debris etc)
Any suggestions as to what could cause this and a fix for it?
