What exactly is precision AC technology?
How different is it from conventional window ACs?
Where is it required?

I suppose that is what we would call "Close Control" systems.

To provide close-control air conditioning you have to control both temperature and humidity levels.

To accomplish this you often have to cool the air to reduce the humidity, then re-heat it so that the temperature is comfortable, then put more water vapour into the air to return the humidity back to acceptable levels.

Precision cooling is all about sensible cooling. it provides about 95% sensible cooling. it is manily used for electronic cooling such as datacenter, telecom units, etc

how can we calculate total cooling capacity & sensible cooling capacity of the unit. Is there any formula for calculating this?

It depends of size of the unit, coil temperature, room temperature and relative humidity in the room. For standard conditions % hum(50% or 40%) and room temp (Db 24C) you may find in technical manual of any manufacturer of close control systems.

normally close control units use EXV or TXV?

normally CRAC's use TXV's
EXV's are available as an option for most manufacturers

hi everybody, precisian ac is provide for utility cooling not for human comfort, its maintain temperatur and humidity so precisian.depend on setting utility.

Precision air-conditioning systems regulate temperature and humidity for sensitive technology.
Its continuous operation reliably ensures the high availability of computer systems.
