Air compressors are handy for removing the 'Fluff' but do not remove the surface film that hinders heat transference.

Condenser, evaporator coils preferably should be cleaned with dry n2 instead of compressed air.

ive got a small 2 hp. unit with free air delivery of 121 litres per minute, its does a satisfactory job and doesnt weigh to much.i would have preferred something in the 140 litre per minute area, but at the time given portability and weight it was the only choice. As to removing surface film i use a degreasing gun to wash & wet vac to clean up.hope this helps

Me too!

Probably to prevent formation of moisture on evaporator fins.
