What the weakness from the system inverter? :cool:

There are several threads in the forum that talks about inverters, such as the one below.

Generally here are some of the industry observations.
- Electromagnetic interference issues
- Capacity output is between 40-100% due to oil return limitations
- The thread I gave above talks about inverter board troubles, reliability, and serviceability
- inveter and motor switching loss

Are the inverter boards a compressor manufacturer part, or made by the air con unit manufacturer, or by an independent supplier of boards?
This is really asking if there is any commonality between brands, or are some inverter boards more reliable than others?

For air conditioning split systems & VRF systems the manufacturer supplies the inverter board & any other components in the inverter circuit like capacitors, resistors & IPM module.
But most the components are standard items.

I often heath check VRF systems with over 50,000 compressor run hours on the clock & still running with original compressor & inverter.
