Hi
I need some emergency advice....

Just went to the fridge freezer and when I opened the fridge the shelves fell out along with the contents and OMFG the back of the fridge is bulging inwards.....
If you press on it you can hear a faint hissing noise, other than that the freezer is working fine.

What should we do, at the moment it is still switched on.
Thanks

opened the fridge this morning and the back wall has stopped bulging and is now back in shape.

The fridge seems to be working fine as well....

Hmmm I wonder if my Dad had not shut the fridge door properly and it affected it that way?

I have seen this a few times before and it was due to the evaporator at the back burst. This may not be the case with yours but it sure sounds like it.

If it stops maintaining a proper temp then bin it.

Thanks for the reply.

It has done it again but I think it has something to do with the defrost??

When we turn down the temperature it starts to bulg, turn it back up so its colder the bulg disapears, but now we have a little layer off ice on the inside back wall.

Other than that its keeping every thing frozen and nice and cool
