I wish to have correct specifications for gasket material for sea water cooled condenser (shell & tube type)

SMPSMP45 is referring to PHE, I assume. I don't think nitrile rubber is an option for sea water s&t condensers. Norwegian oil and gas consortium recommends Neoprene, Butyl rubber or fluoroelastomers.
Nitrile rubber and EPDM, along with others (graphite, PTFE, aramid, carbon fiber) don't seem to be appropriate.

As for metal gaskets, high alloy stainless steel flanges have better results with Alloy 625, 276 or 59 gaskets or titanium gaskets.
Other alloys like 316SS or 317L or 904L shall not be used with high alloy SS flanges.
