Do you use 'Doorway' access software from Doorway Systems? http://www.doorway.co.uk/

Here's the normal connection set up taken from their web site (under Data Sheet)

Doorway Hardware Requirements
BMS requirements
For a single controller:

A suitable RS232 cable from PC to controller.

For multiple controllers with BMS network:
A Communications Node Controller (CNC) or equivalent on BMS network.
with suitable RS232 cable from PC to node.
Or an Ethernet connection from PC to Ethernet BMS node.

If you post the exact Trend outstation model, I'll ask our Controls guru what you will need.
