HI guys i have been asked to look at a screw compressor but i have nt got a clue to what it is, may be some one can identify it and let me know,its badged up as a york and also its terminal plate is same as the york j body recipes and weighs around 600kg

Pic is very small it is possibly a frick screw comp but not sure, more pics with close ups could help to identify it.

it is for sure a YORK compressor. Model XHS (semihermetic screw with internal gearbox). I have overhauled a few of these types and I can tell you that they are not the easiest on the market. If you need some advice let me know.

I would say its a Frick XJF 120 or 151.It could also be the same compressor using York's nomenclature as Screwdoctor has mentioned.

What can you help me to overhaul XHS120BF50Y compressor? Are part and service manuals available?
