I have to re-gas the above unit, at present filled with R22 going to re-gas with R410a. From what I can make out on technical data on Air Con unit at moment 2.1kg of R22 was pre-gassed in condensor unit for runs up to 10 metres and an additional .25kg per extra metre. Would this be the same as for the replacement R410a and what operating pressure should I be looking for?

Make sure you squirt some WD40 in the big pipe before you recharge it.
It helps the 410a get around better, as it's a bit sticky when new.
Don't worry about pressures, it will be just fine. Feel the big pipe, when it feels like a can of cold beer, you've cracked it.

Frank1 is in England, so how would he know what a can of cold beer feels like :D
