View Full Version : Advice needed regarding a hubbards mobile fridge unit

Hi all, just woumdered if any of you guys could help!!!? i have just bought an FORD ESCORT van which is fully kitted out with a hubbard refridgeration unit in it (in full working order!!) I am going to take it out so here is my questions 1) approx how much are they worth second hand 2)Does anyone no anywhere to advertise the unit ,as this has come off ministery of defence vehicle i expect it to of being high spec and well maintained. thanks russ

This would be virtually worthless
To refit it it would require repiping a drive kit for the van anyone was going to fit it to.
You would be better trying to sell the complete van

1) As much as you can get.

2) Ebay?

3) Remember to take the cost of having a qualified refrigeration engineer recover the gas before you split the system into account.

As usual, I'm with Skooby. Mount kits alone can be worth more than the unit itself. (Compressor mount to engine.) You will also need all new hoses and electrical. He's right, not worth it.
