We have a client whose got three floors of City Multi R407C kit running of 3 x G50's, actualy there not the G50 it's the 41** something or other unit instead I think.

Any way they want to control the whole building from a Desktop PC.

Has anyone any experience of the Mitsi PC controllers and is it do-able.

What sort of cost are we looking at roughly?

Cheers! :)

You might have 3 MJ103 central controllers.
That was the central control model before G50.
The PC control system for MJ103 was called MJ300 & then MJ310e.
For those systems you needed gateways & IFU interface.

Controls have moved on alot since then.

One option now would be to upgrade to 3 G50's or the latest AG150 touch screen model.
You can connect the PC to the G50 with network cable via buiding network or connect the G50's to router & telephone line & control via internet.

Mitsubishi do this every day so best to get them to help commissioning.
Each G50 needs IP address , sub net mask to be set up & the building IT department will have to provide that information for you.
So you need to make sure the customer IT department gets the PC , cables & IP address all inplace before final commissioning by Mitsubishi.

Mitsubishi can provide a TG2000 program for the PC & at extra cost can do graphics based on CAD layout drawings or do stuff like power monitoring which the customer might want for energy saving. Email fault code notification direct to service engineer
The list of options goes on & on.

The main cost is the G50 & power supply pack which will cost about £1200 each.
