W/pool sbs No ice

been to a S20ERBB2V whirlpool side by side working fine apprt from no water getting into the ice maker. Water supply to valves, valves showing circuit through solenoid coils, water dispensing fine, just no action from the ice-maker. Any help gratefully received. BTW, not sure if I remember reading somewhere about ice-maker water pipe freezing in cabinet, but can't be sure it was whirlpool. Have advised customer to fully defrost and see what happens (in view of the fact that I didn't have any parts with me And that I know very little about this model) Also, there is an infra-red sensor which I guess is to do with sensing when ice bucket is full.

If the water valve is passing slightly then the pipe freezes up inside.

Replace the valve and defrost the pipe.

Be careful not to leave any leaks!
