hello all, was wondering if this is being used widely?? on p-series models, old R22 units can be replaced with R410A models and still use existing pipework, as long as pipe size is correct. SW8-2 on the outdoor board is set to on, which opens cleaning circuit and finishes after 2 hours. has anyone performed this and what were the results??

Kind Regards,

Al

I'd like to know this too as we may have a 10 year old 7kW R22 Mitsi split cassette to swap out with a new R410a Power Inveter model.

Is it plug and play or do you need to alter any dips after the two hour cleansing session?

its plug and play, place unit into cleaning mode and after two hours it finishes and is available to run, you don't need to make any more adjustments after this.

Ive replaced 5 hitatchi units for power inverters using the 2hr flush. U can only do this if there has been no burn outs preiously and also usually the suction line is bigger on the r22 systems so an additional dip sw setting is needed . Them units have been running for 12 mtgs now and no problems
