Rdm equipment

Hi guys
Currently working on Rdm equipment it consists of a data manager (2) two section controllers two pr0016 address modules and 1 network switch. i am having difficulty keeping both controllers online has any one else had this problem recently. Many other stores have been installed and working perfectly. any ideas?

check for any loose cat 5 cables or kinks in network cables

Hi Phil,

is the network switch a rdm addressable type or a third party type.

Are the two pr0016 modules using the same address ? and what is the cable length between the data manager and the controllers as it sounds as if you have a clash, if you are dropping on and offline

Check the i/p address from the NET menu, should be IP-L then 7 values, check they are different, if not default everything and re-boot it, if they are run through the same hub the address is dependant on the port it is plugged into, and the rotary switches too.
