View Full Version : Fault code C6 inverter - how to test?

Please can somewone explain how to do the following check.
If the compressor is OK check the inverter output voltages are all equal.

Do you measure voltage between earth and start or run winding/pin on compressor while operating unit to check output voltages are equal or do you need to disconnect terminals from compressor and where do you put your test probes from multimeter?

The comp is 3 phase and the inverter will be outputting a voltage on each 'phase' U, V and W
you should have equal voltages between each pair UV VW UW
usually you wouldn;t check to earth as this can damage the inverter
