Compressor change

i am currently at night school studying to become a refridgeration engineer and have been given the task of explaining in full how i would go about a compressor change i know this would probably sound mundain to the most of you but would you please advise!! many thanx

oh sorry also the associated electrics and this is on a small refridgeator cabinet

Now that would be cheating so its probably best that you tell us how you think you would change and we will point you in the correct direction from there.

I must agree with Bernard. The compressor is definately the heart of the system. Talk us through how you would do the job.

Hint: maybe explain the decision as to why the compressor has to be changed?

What would you check first of all?

Also bear in mind the 'real life economics' of a compressor change!
