Hi evreyone i am new on here.
Just a quick one i was wondering if anyone has any advantages and disadvantages to shareing the load of a room equally over two systems i.e 65%. I know the install cost is a disadvantage. whilst the run life of the two systems is increased which is an obvious advantage can anybody help with any others?

I have only seen one room with two seperate refrigeration systems. 100% backup, if one failed the other system would start. Considering they had nz$7million worth of vacine stored. If you had several rooms required to pull down load and store it would be viable to have one pulldown system and several storage load systems.

We do this in many a cases. If you work out the heat load, it is always the peak load & typically the Normal working load is almost 70% of the Peak heat load ( Unless there is a product load). So in actual practice one system works as 100% stand by for 95% of the times.
