Hello to everybody.
I´m borrowing a thread I just found in another forum beacuse it describes exactly the same situation I´m facing right now.
Currently, I cannot find any available bellows type seal for a TK X430 compressor: they seem to be in short supply (does someone know why ?). I alredy ordered abroad a few of this seals, but they will arrive here no sooner than next week. On the other hand, we have plenty of spring loaded type seals in the shop. Is it possible to use, as a last ditch option, one of this spring loaded seals on a R-404A system?

yes!!!! the bellows seals are absolute junk. The failures in comparison to the spring type are indescribable. I always use the spring type on all seal replacements i do.

Not a problem, I've actually had quite a few people that didnt know you could use either or. The TK I used to work for actually doesnt even stock the bellows type seal anymore due to the problems they've had with them.

I think you have to use whatever you can get your hands on right now. I have used the aftermarket ones with no issue at all.

I'll use an old sock before I use a bellows style seal!!!
