The G50 in cooling mode has a setpoint range of 19-30 celsius so unfortunately for your customer 17 is not achieveable. Any reason for such a low setpoint?

ya im running the g50 on a heat pump system with 3 condensers and 3 ducted units in controlled enviroment [lab] i think its because a previous job we did was with daikins so to the set points can go to 16 was thinking about off setting the return air probe with a 1ohm rest what do you think???

hi paul ya mate its well able to do the job have 3 25 kw units on with a 60kw load on or test runs over 2 hours the room temp dropped to 13 degrees so that wont be a problem im just thinking if i off set the termsistor will it cause me problems down the line this guy wont give up on this one

You could offset by 2K ambient air thermistor by adding resistor without any problem.
Value of that offset resistor depend on type of probe (NTC or PTC, it is usualy PTC) and its T/R relationship.
It is certainly that 1ohm wont do the job.

The min 19 is standard for all CM indoor units no matter which controls are being used.
There is a little known option for some indoor units for a 14 min but suggest get advise from ME technical before you proceed with this option.

Yep, that is usually how I affect at peoples (they are few heart beats next to heart attack with my "bringing bad news skills"). :D;)
