There is a training center in Canada
( New Brunswick ) which offers a 40 week Transport Refrigeration Course.
It is intended to prepare students to enter the refrigeration industry with a good solid understanding of A/C and D/C electronics, Basic Refrigeration, Transport Refrigeration Components and Controls , Diesel Engine and Compressor testing and rebuild procedures, soldering and PM service procedures.
The course has been offered since 1995 and has helped industry meet the demands for qualified technicians.

Do they offer training on Absorbtion systems.. namely for a/c..?

I don't think that Absorption is used in Transport.

The course covers TK and Carrier transport refrigeration systems.

hello tx valve.. would by chance have more info. on that school. I have been looking for something like this long time. No one in the states does that. If possible give me there contact information, such as website, email or phone number.
