There is a training center in Canada
( New Brunswick ) which offers a 40 week Transport Refrigeration Course.
It is intended to prepare students to enter the refrigeration industry with a good solid understanding of A/C and D/C electronics, Basic Refrigeration, Transport Refrigeration Components and Controls , Diesel Engine and Compressor testing and rebuild procedures, soldering and PM service procedures.
The course has been offered since 1995 and has helped industry meet the demands for qualified technicians.
