Can anyone advise me how to remove the screws froma stal s26?? I just need to know how to get the thrust bearings out - are they threaded or just pressed in??

Alternativly, can anyone get their hands on a stal S26 workshop manual??

Hi riksly i ve never done s26 but i ve rebuilt s50 ,s60,s70 and they are fairly straight forward apart from opening the axail bearing nuts,the thrust bearings are pushed on , warm the centre of the ball bearing and pushem straight on

- pressed in, but to do overhaul on that compressor you need a special tools ... not an easy task;)

unfortunately, as I remember that is not a Stal procedure with this compressor ... without warming bearings must be pushed on the shaft with special tools ...

... take a special care about order of installation ... missing it you must buy a new set of bearings....
