Make Classeq/Manitowoc Model EC5041AV, Serial 060253496 (on R134a)

Can anyone tell me what compressor should be fitted to this?

I don't know, two posts with a year between them and he still wants answers :D:D:D

Can't answer that one directly apart from saying it should be a Danfoss compressor according to the Manitowoc literature, found here after a quick Google...

Is there still a label on the compressor in the machine ?

Cheek of the man eh? Wanting some assistance from those more knowledgeable . . . :)

My engineer wasnt able to provide any info.
Said the label was "unreadable".

I have spoken to a supplier of spares for these machines & they are waiting for a reply from the factory.

The manuals list a basic compressor spec but no particular model.

I dont know enough to pick a compressor just based on that info

Other than that already given I can only tell you the compressor is "tubed" connections.

All Danfoss compressors have on their body engraved model # so it is always readable

I have been told the machine may have an Embraco compressor also by our supplier. . .

If its a Danfoss & the label was missing or unreadable then maybe the engineer didnt know the info was in the compressor casing also OR just didnt bother looking.

I think maybe he needs to go back & take a another look.

I don't know myself, but I would recommend a company I use for all my ice-maker spares, including Manitowoc.
Try: Ice Machines UK Ltd - phone number: 01483 205749. They seem to be quite clued-up on most ice machines and usually have what i'm looking for.
