uv leak detector

hi guys
just received an ite uv leak detecter kit ? from a chum of mine who has gone to work in canada?.
problem is theirs no instructions and i have never used one before ?.
the kit is like new with uv lamp ,battery and charger and half used bottle of dye , so any info would be great , cheers guys;)
