Hi All
Struggling to get a continuous run out of the screw compressor after it has run down to temp and then cycles off.Upon restart it goes into "oil not to temperature"mode and will not restart even though the comp body is warm/hot etc.......
Can not find a sensor on the oil sep or in a pocket of the screw compressor.
I am wondering if the temp sensor is built into the refrigerant level sensor built into the line coming off the bottom of the oil sep etc....
Been onto Mc Quay who are no help to the point where they will not even supply a manual for the chiller but are happy to charge £800 per day to come and have a look.
Thank you

Oil heating is required to avoid accumulation of liquid inside the compressor during start up.
The startup of compressors will not be allowed if the following formula is not respected: Discharge Temperature – Toil Pressure > 5 °C
Discharge Temperature: is the compressor discharge temperature (corresponding to oil temperature)
Toil Pressure: is the refrigerant saturated temperature at the oil pressure.
Check the discharge temperature sensor and oil pressure sensor for proper operation.
