All of the guys that have their own business in relation to the sales support, what are you more interested in the friendship of the sales person only or the technical knowlege that can be applied to the job you have under tender?
Which manufacture gives you a total, quick, accurate sales solution?:D

Different dealers represent different manufacturers differently..

On that basis I won't vote as this poll doesn't work for me..

the question is not about the dealers but the manufacturers support to the dealers directly.

Why not go ask the dealers ?

this would take a lot of time and it would be good to hear what others have to say about it, as a lot of people selling want the manufacturers to spec their jobs for them which i think is rediculous as they should be able to do their own job but this is not the case.

At 100-120 w/m2 it's easy. However as the manufacturers reps have little or nothing else to do and they want the business it's a simple case of outsourcing.
Boss gets some drawings for a Mitsi VRF job with 20 indoors on. Obvious answer is to send the drawings to Mitsi and let them do the leg work.Less chance of eff ups and they should have up to date knowledge of the kit(?)

Boss can then get on looking for more jobs so he can send them the drawings..Makes perfect sense..

on a couple million pound jobs, it is not just about 120 watts per square meter as a proper heat load and heat loss has to be done as well as fresh air requirements to take into account.

On a 2 million pound job it would be spec'ed by a consultant, and you can bet your arse they asked the manufacturer to size it for them!

Unfortunately Toshiba is not listed, so i can not vote. But if Toshiba/Cool Designs Ltd were listed, i would vote for them. The best customer service i have ever found. 10/10 every time

*edit* They have even commissioned kit for me in the past when i have been busy selling/installing their kit elsewhere
