Hot gas Defrost piping

working on Hussman Reach-IN freezers and found out that the evaporators designed to defrost on hot gas. any suggestions of how to pipe these units!!. feeding hot gas through the low side by using a reversing valve?? do i need to add a metering device to the condenser ?

Come on, do you think that is enough info for anyone to give a good answer?? ;) Is it self contained or on a parallel rack? Is the rack already set up for hot gas defrost?

I believe Hussman will have a recommended method on how to pipe the display cases. You should be looking at one of their respective manuals on how to do this. They have engineered the system to work the way they want it to, so if you do something different than what they suggest... it's your problem, not theirs.
