Hi All, is there a table available with approx liquid refrigerant weight (R22) per metre for various size copper pipe.

You could easily calculate for various pipes in Excel from pipe internal volume (internal radius^2 x Pi x pipe length) and specific weight of liquid refrigerant.

unibar,

Here's alink to Heatcraft's Engineering Manual.

Click on: Heatcraft Engineering Manuals
Then: Engineering Manual
Page: 36

It's not in metric though.

yeah this is true but all systems will have different operating characteristics so it is best to work out the charge as per refrigerant classification and model of the unit..

the only one that will be a constant will be water as there is no state change as such, only flow rate will vary depending on resistance..
