Hello Gents,

As 2009 is on the horizon, would anyone have any news as to who is in the cool runnings for the Sainsburys contract in 2009?

I don't have to name names as to who is covering these works at the Mo.. but hoping for some fresh faces April onwards. Along with some fresh Management.

Any news guys? good news that is?

Regards and a Happy New year to you all.

Willies boy, I'm sure you'll be in the know?

There's going to be a bit of a shake up and a familiar name will be returning.

It's always the same when contracts are up for renewel, this type of posting starts, and people get carried away with rumours.
People make out they know what is happening but will never substantiate what they post. More often than not, they are the ones that know the least.
I'll wait and see what happens. As I said before " same job, different t-shirt".
I've been TUPE'd before and I dare say it will happen again, so why worry.......

Lets see what Carrillion have to say!! JS are very short sighted if they let "a familiar name return" as they ran it into the ground last time they had it!

All these super markets push us fridgies around like dogs never ever happy with what we do and each year they get more and more from us and its us engineers that take the toll. smaller increases more trackers and computers to log in to make sure that we dont get that extra minute in our pay slip.
When will the fridge companies get together and say enough is enough.Instaed we are pushed around and bullied. Our work increases and we take a pay cut for these huge companies making trillions......

Unfortunately that will never happen.

There will always be one company out there that will undercut the price just to get some work. :(

I work for an FM company who are trying to get into the tesco and sainsbury game through small footings. We are a national comp with massive workforce and tupe'ing guys all over. 80% of our work is from national contracts but the guys i speak to about tesco contracts say they are happy to loose it because of the problems working with 24hr stores. topping up with 404 is all these guys seemed to do as leak finding was impossible .. so much for safe handling ..:(

If it is a named company only then I stand by my comment.
