Polar t315 ice maker problem

I wonder if anyone could offer me some help? I have a Polar refrigeration T315 Ice machine. It has been working fine until recently when it now thinks it is full of ice the whole time. The odd thing is, if you shine a torch light at the magic eye sensor that stops it making ice, it starts making ice until you take the torch light away again. Can you help? Many Thanks if you can. clean the sensor by.maybe magic eye blocked.if it doesn"t works replace.
