Does anyone have the specifications for RT1 air thermistor in the indoor unit?

Does anyone have any modification diagrams to shift the thermistor temperature range? To basically trick the unit in thinking it is warmer than what it actually is, or vice versa.

would like to use the remote control to view the air thermistor temperture.

I can access the fault diagnostics no problem etc. (Temp Up, Temp Down, Mode).

How can I access the thermistor readings?

Press and hold the test button until the figure 10 shows.

Release button and press again, holding until the figure 40 shows. Release button

Press temperature up to display figure 41.

Second display, to left of 41 should show a code 00 with a figure underneath, say 21; that is the thermistor in the remote controller.

Press the button to the left of the temperature buttons to change the code to 01 which is the thermistor in the air return to the unit.

Repeat the exercise to code 02 and you will see the coil temperature.

Press test to exit.

Brian, thanks, although the remote does not have a test button.

That's only because Brian gave you the info on a controller whcih can't be fitted to your system..

However as you're in AU try this guy on the first poast he has the same unit and the service manual etc

I did contact him, but he did not know how to monitor the thermistors from the remote.

You can't on an infrared RC as they do not receive information.Which is why you have to send a signal which makes the indoor unit beep to correspond to a fault code.

I thought you just wanted the service manual with the thermistor temp/resistance curve?
