Hi frends i m very new to this forum.i need help of u guys in building water chiller.that will b 1000 liter water chiller.optimum temperature is +5'c. Where waters normal temperature is +28'c.this is storage type water chiller.i wana use 2 system of 5ton capacity(total capacity10ton).with 5ton-copland reciprocating compressor i m using 24 sq.ft-4 raw aircooled condenser.and expansion valve is TEX2(danfoss) with 06 orifice.refrigerant is 22.with this stuff i m confuse about how to design evaporater with 5/8'' size piping in 1000 liter water tank.help me about lenght of piping in tank?there will b two 5 ton system in 1 tank.should i design 2 circuit of piping per each 5ton system?or keep single? 800ft total pipe ll b ok for good result?

Sorry, here is 1 correction.there will b 1/2'' size pipe instead of 5/8'' pipe.i wana use 1/2'' size piping coz its more suitable in banding.

Try this UK company
www.fandrproducts.co.uk (http://www.fandrproducts.co.uk)

The design engineer has been doing coil in tank chillers for about 40 years.

He might do a design for you for a fee.

Hi BlueStar . . .

I suggest that you design a 2 steps (2 circuits ) system , each of 5 RT, this way you can save energy on more cold climates.
