Hi,

I've got a Liebherr fridge freezer which intermittently goes warm (the fridge goes from 0 to 10 and the freezer from -25 to -5). After doing some reading, I am assuming that the thermostat has gone...

However, I would like a recommendation on a engineer close to Heathrow, and a probable price (including parts and labour), otherwise it's going to get replaced.

Thanks.

Hi - Did you find anyone? I'm having a similar problem (great, huh, on christmas eve!) and could do with a reputable engineer in West London....

Hi tonto33 - thanks. Any ideas where I can purchase this part and also any instructions on how to fit the part? It seems that if I keep the fridge on the highest setting and super cool it 'works' and then if I turn it down just a bit - it then doesn't 'work' (even though the lights work, etc) and the temperature keeps on rising. Does this sound like a thermostat problem?

Thanks.

How can I replace a thermostat - where is it located - are there instructions, etc? I don't want to buy a part and then I can replace the thermostat. Thanks.
