Hi all,

does anyone out there have the technical manual for an hitachi ras 10 fsn1e 3 pipe vrf. I need to change the discharge pressure transducer tomorrow. I have found the problem with the system just need to know if there is a schrader valve fitted at the sensor and if I can simply unscrew it and replace without spending hours on gas recovery etc. Any help is much appreciated.

The last Hitachi one I changed was on a schreader but they tend to change the specification from time to time so you can never be absolutely sure.

The safety HP switch is brazed in as I recall. But the pressure sensors are on schreader so can be unscrewed & replaced easily.

Thanks a lot. Was there last week I remember seeing the hp switches brazed on as you say but was in a rush to go after finding the problem so did not take a lot of notice how it was attached. Got the new sensor now but wasn`t looking forward to pulling the gas out cause I`ve got the slowest recovery machine in the world. Thanks again.
