I'm a student in an HVAC/R school. I'm having difficulity with the understaning of this question. I understand the transfer of heat through conduction, convection and radiation. Is the answer true of false and why? The human body is comfortable, when the heat produced in the body is equal to heat loss to the
surrounding.

if one is sitting down doing nothing (80kg),the other is running around (95),and the other is sitting down but the top of his body is working hard( 65), and all of this is in the same aria, say a office.... give's you something to think about...

It's true, because human body temp is more or less constant regardless of what a person is doing.

However, perception of temperature varies from person to person and you will find this is very relevant to air conditioning, particularly in shared office spaces.
