hi guys
just after some information on trane cgadd series chiller. (old recip)
it has been going out on hrd-5 fault, which is a problem with the rcm module. i changed rcm modules with spae i had and it ran for a few days then it faulted again and when it powers down it resets its own fault.
so i spoke to some guys at work and they said it was from a eprom fault meaning a sensor/ solonoid / probe causing problem so i replaced a suspect solonoid and it worked for 24 hours it has now gone down again any help greatly appreciated.

check the grounds of the RCM! If that fails place a "magnet" (don't know the correct word in Engish) around the sensorwires near the RCM to reduce induction picked by by the wires.

Also check all solderings on the back side of the RCM and the flatcable, if present, between the main module and secomd one!
