In a Refrigerant Compressed air Dryer Type FD 60 ATLAS COPCO with refrigerant R22, the low and high pressures are the same (130 psi) so we have no refrigeration. Normally the pressures are 60psi and 250 psi. The compressor it works normally. The dryer use automatic expansion valve. I will be happy to have your comments. Do you thing that the automatic expansion valve is malfunction.

Thanks

May I suggest you pump test the compressor first, is the condenser getting warm to the touch?

Did you take an amp reading to determine if it's pumping. With a big load it should be close to FLA

Hi Kaskiris
Is there a Suction heat exchanger,
there should be a difference in Temp. at the pipe work in and out of the Exchanger.
The hot gas pipe can fracture inside the exchanger.
The Compressor must be HOT.
