Sidi.
Below I have added data about your question copied from the Yellow Jacket website, which is full of useful tips.
The web link goes to their download-able video showing how to use a vacuum pump.

sidi,

as per expeience working on cascade system the aim is to evacuate the system up to 50 microns.you do a triple evac in 18 hours divide by 3.every 6 hours change oil of the pump to remove moisture on the oil and continue evacuating up to 50 microns.you may a 8 to 10 cfm pump.

50 microns is how many psi?

50 microns is 50 x millionth part of inch of mercury column = 0.000966835684 PSI absolute or
-14,694976170309 gauge!
Absolute vacuum is -14.695943005993 PSI gauge

Absolute vacuum is -14.695943005993 PSI gaugeSo, assuming most digital guages read to 2 DP and round out the difference, then it could be either -14.69 or -14.70 psia.

I feel that it is the wrong guage to use ;)
