hi guys does anyone a good place to source fujitsu service manuals theres nothing on fujitsu-general and cant find anything via google, im after one for ABY24 under ceiling/floor mounted type.

i seen two of these units today, the indoor unit is 240v but i have noticed that voltage on the 5th core when in cooling or heating is around the 400v mark, (didnt check if this voltage was coming from indoors or outdoors)
but what the hell is going on here? both systems are working fine other than this strange voltage im reading?
i get the same reading between Earth or N

i was thinking maybe my meter was playing up but i checked it on a known 240V and it was fine, i was using a Fluke T5-1000 http://www.coleparmer.co.uk/catalog/product_view.asp?sku=2607820

power is fed from outdoors

Try to measure that voltage with analog volt meter!
That Fluke is not TRUE RMS!
What is full model name ABY24XXXX?

im not aware of this true rms and i dont really understand the difference even after reading that article, the cable is HOT and i know it is, it just seemed to be 400v not 240v

model. ABY24L or at least thats what i remember

i have never come across a reading like this before where i wasnt expecting it and thought my meter was fine being fluke and all?

i have been looking to buy a new meter mind but not for this reason, but it is TRUE RMS whatevere this is?

A word of warning with those Fluke meters.

If the batteries are getting tired then the voltage readings go to hell.

This happens before the low battery indicator comes on.

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Fujitsu service manuals are still available from Mediafire? The link I tried is dead.

Thanks.

Hi Skywalker,
I don't know of that wierd voltage!. I might have that manual, Let me have a look at a pile of Fujitsu manuals I grabbed out of bin from our local climate centre before they moved. I will post aother message tonight if I find it or not, OK.
Does it have any other prefixes to the model?
