hi
i lefr a reclaim unit on a bit to long and ended up in a vacuum, also with a leak in the system...seems like i might have takin air into cylinder..any thoughts

You can only be talking about a minute quantity of air.
Leave the cylinder in a room of a constant temperature for a while.
Check the standing pressure in the cylinder, and compare with the room temp.
Use a comparitor.

If there is air, you need to purge the bottle, very carefully.

Yes, a decade ago we were allowed to do just that BUT,

Nowadays, the correct answer would be to send the content of that dumpy for destruction.

Stick a quarter sight glass in line with hoses, charge liquid only, leave vapour and air in bottle, send bottle to RSL for destruction!!
