No, you can not! Main heat load is usually not from cold room walls, floor and roof. That is usually smallest load in calculation.

Try this software (http://www.keepriterefrigeration.com/calcrite/RTcalc1.htm), it could help but, without product load, it is only guessing. So, try to predict product load and play with calculations to see effect on capacity rise.

i always start whit the product heat load, and work on till i get to the cold room.
then combine all the aspects to come whit the best of solution for the client.

Depending on the use of the cold room the infiltration or product cooling load may be the greater factors.

Adding 10% is only a safety factor to cover minor issues, not major cooling loads.

We consider 10% loading per day( of the total storage capacity). Since this is a very small cold room typically it may require 1.5 TR at -20 room temperature. Generally this is the size for a ice cream distributor in India & we have seen that product load factor keeps fluctuating all the time.
The Incoming temp is considered as -10 deg c for icecream. ( yes it is so!!!)

I'd rather to have a bit of oversize than undersize :)
