How do you fix the door seal on leaking Zanussi frost free fridge/freezer. It is the freezer door that appears to keep filling up with water around the edges and then leaking onto the floor when you open it, inside the freezer compartment near the door there is a build up of ice.

It would seam that the door is not being closed properly allowing the buildup of ice which, in turn, pushes the door open and so on.

have a look at the door seal close to where the ice is building up inside, this is where your problem lies. Is the seal split or distorted?, you can check the seal all way round if you use a bank note on the closed door ,you should feel a little resistance when you try to pull it out.
If it is damaged then you will need a new door seal I'm afraid. If it is distorted you could try manipulating it but you would have to have it empty and turned off so it is at room temp.

You also need to look at the ice build up, is it snowy or solid ice. If its snowy then warm air is getting into your freezer if it is solid ice (frozen water) then you need to look at possibly a blockage in the drain hole for the freezer evapourator, this will cause water to spill over into the bottom of your freezer, it should drain away to a dish at the back of your f/freezer during defrost cycles.
Good Luck.
