Hi, all. I have a question, about that how is work on more displacemant than, manifacturer give on tech. manual. I mean, that we have HITACHI RAS-25YH6 (inv. split) for 20m2 room. In manuals, there are max. 10 meters in high lenght, but we want to install OU in near 15 meters above (on the roof). Can we compensate with install more powerfull split, like HITACHI RAS-35YH6, or you think that is no meaning.
PS: sorry for my English and if the post is not on the right place.

Your English is good :)

The maximum height for a model RAS-35YH6 is still 10 metres, sorry.

See this installation document...(only found in English, sorry)

why not change to water systems???
chiller based you can put a bigger or stronger pump for heights like that.

Do you think that if we install this machine, it won't work or the problem is that it's probably to broke down compressor very soon? Another fact is that it will work only on cooling mode.
I think that in cooling mode (if OU is above), the liqud ref. will have more static. press. than the gas ref., and that will help to copressor to suck.
I'm just curious.

If you install THAT machine then you will not have any warranty from the manufacturer.

Also I am unable to comment on installs outside the machines design.

Try another manufacturer.

the manufacturer has made all the possible calculations on his design and possible ways of installs.if they say it go's to 10mtr,be sure thats the limit.i don't say it wont work, but it will not work as it should be.also you lose the warranty bey not following the designed setups. in other words, don't play for luck, you lose.

Thank You for advices. We will do it by Multisplit HITACHI System (RAM-130QH5), because there are 20 m pipe lift available.

OK, but the data sheet I've seen still only rates these units for 10m.
