Hey, I'm new to RE so took me half an hour to get to understand how to send but anyhoo.

I am in my fourth year of my apprentaship but i have only just started refrigeration.
Could anyone tell me the safe working practises and risk assessment procedures for the surge drum

A little more information may improve the answers given.

What is the surge drum to be used on and what refrigerant used ?

Don't hit it with a sledge hammer.
Don't set fire to it.
Don't go inside one.
Don't lick it.
Don't turn your back on it or it will have you.
Don't run away just face it and back out.
Don't lick it.
Don't paint them red.
Don't invite them to parties.
Don't even let them know where the party is.

Why don't you talk to us tell us what you do and why you need to know things about surge drums.

If my joking has upset you then your not the first :rolleyes:.

Somtimes students come on here and want us to do their college work for them, to give them all the answers. I'm sure that was not your intention so if you talk to us about surge drums there are a lot of people who will be able to give you a lot of information and advise.

So the balls in your court as they say.
