Here is one for the calculator junky. I have tried to find the heat conductivity for sch 10 stainless pipe.
I have 1250' of 8" sch 10 pipe at 120* for 6 hours at a time in a 50* room.
I am looking to see if it is practical to insulate this pipe or not. Recieved a qoute for 90K to insulate with 2" isocy. Any help

seems to me, if the room is refrigerated you would want to insulate just to stop the heat gain. thin wall pipe right?
