View Full Version : MH035FWEA water leak

I've just switched on one of my Samsung MH035FWEA units, and it started off working fine, cooling the air, then the fan started to sort of pulse, rather than the continuous noise that you hear from it when it is on (noise that you can hardly hear normally, if you know what I mean), and water started dripping out of it.

I took the filters out, and they were pretty filthy, so I've given them a clean.

Would dirty filters have caused the problem, or are the symptons I'm describing from something else?

Thanks,

MikeyBoy.

Dirty filters can cause the machine to start freezing up, which blocks the airflow across the coil and in extreme cases will break the fan when the ice starts "growing".

may also be an idea to check/clean the drip pan and check pump ect just in case any "gunk" has found its way there
