Evening chaps,I need some help sourcing an evap coil for an infrico 5 door counter/bench fridge - BM3000, which is pretty old.
I have spoken to acme/pentland and they say it is obsolete and you cannot get that evap anymore.
Do you guys know of an alternative evap/fan assembly that would fit - possibly another manufacturer or should I resort to the dreaded leak sealer stuff, give it a go and if it fails condemn the unit.

if they say its obsolete then it is. that company wouldn't say its not if there were money in it for them

cant you just fit a small evaporator inside?
have done this in the past although not to an infrico

I gave the leak sealer a go in the end:( Not happy about it but if it gives them use of the machine until after christmas, it will be a result.

Richard, I quite like the sound of doing that, I'll have to research it a bit further. What sort of evap did you use?

You could get one made at Beehive coils, I have been that route before where a panel cooler would not fit in the cabinet, also if you go the panel cooler route be aware of the air flow as the fans or return air can be easilly obstructed.
