help needed with a question

hi all im new here. i bought a 2nd hand samsung american fridge freezer .. worked perfect for nearly a week and now i have found that the freezer part is flashing minus 24!!
and that my things are defrosting

any one help please ..

we didnt get a manual on how to lock the temps

Flashing number is a fault. Turn the power off for a few min and turn it back on.
See if you get a fault code (tiny single segment on the display) or whether it fires up again normally.
But you have a fault that requires a service guy out to fix.
fan, heater or thermal fuse is my guess

paul h is correct you have fault with the defrost side so as he says you will need defrost sensor thermal fuse and maybe the heater
