Just a quick one. I have looked at the properties of these two gasses and cant find why we don't use N20 (nitrous oxide) instead of CO2?

Because everyone would steal it? :D

To do what?

Act as a refrigerant?

I do not know the properties of N20 but I imagine it is
dearer than C02, but in truth I do not know.

Here's a quote from the United States EPA

Nitrous oxide (N2O) is a clear, colorless gas, with a slightly sweet odor. Due to its long atmospheric lifetime (approximately 120 years) and heat trapping effects —about 310 times more powerful than carbon dioxide on a per molecule basis — N2O is an important greenhouse gas.

750Valve. This doesn't look right.

R22 has a GWP of someting like 1600 and R410A (a current replacement for R22) is even higher. So, this can't be the reason.

Sorry, I just noticed that it hangs about for 120 years; much more than the others I mentioned.

N20 is a good refrigerant. The triple point is at -90°C, over 36° lower then CO2, and the critical point is 6°C higher than CO2.
It has similar pressures, so it can be a drop in substitute for CO2 in very low temperature or transcritical criogenics.

The only drawback is a GWP of 240.
