All input welcome.

Hi, not sure about R422d but the sites that were retrofitted with R422a turned into nightmares for leaks (o-rings, gaskets, shut offs etc).
Good Luck Rowan

Yer,as Roland says, seals and shutoffs need attention.

I have 3 lt packs that were on 502 originally, then went to 408 and now on 422a,also 3 ht packs in the same store that were on 22 and now on 422a.

All leaked big time.I expect it will be the same with 422d,it just needs that extra bit of money and care and attention thrown at it.

Hi Mark, I too would like to know peoples' views and experiences with this or any other R22 replacement, as, the clock is ticking!

I`ve just realised that those ht packs have the wrong gas in them,as 422a is for low temperature.

Someones in for a beating tomorrow.
