View Full Version : RETA Convention in Harrisburg, PA USA

Actually it is in Hershey which is very close to Harrisburg.

Anyone else going to the annual RETA (Refrigeration Engineers & Technicians Association) convention this year? It's September 23rd-26th.

I will be going. Anyone that is going should try to get on a plant tour at Frick as well. It is close and very interesting. The old power house is the best.

I don't think the old power house exists anymore. In fact I do know that the water tower has been replaced.

If that is true I would be shocked. I go for meetings yearly and last year it was all in tact. I hope you are wrong as that is the best part.

I'll double check with some sources, but I believe it was torn down. Just checked... it was the boiler room that was torn down (sat next to Power house). Power house still there and a great tour. The water tower though is now replaced with a Shamu-like tan tank.
